Matchbox madness;
Caught a pyro's pining,
Dining on the tragic tines,
Sifting through my minded mines
For dire magic.
Trying on my sadness;
Sifting through the sips
Of trickery,
Intrinsic lifts, and dips
Tripping over timid whimsy.
Whimpering before my favorite picks:
Pitch black, fanatical, erratic —
Baggage,
Back and forth,
Wracking words and world's hear-say;
Words I played for,
Made to mourn,
Prayed for;
Foraging forever,
Boring in abyss for what I once adored,
Now scorned,
Born again, torrid love affair
With more, of this
